DESCRIPTION: We know the nonprofit world wasn’t built for true liberation - but our relationships can be. This gathering is a chance to remember that solidarity is not a theory, it’s an embodied practice of listening, sharing risk, and weaving the everyday miracles of care that keep our people alive. Through story, network mapping, and embodied practice, we’ll explore how to build networks rooted in trust, reciprocity, and shared purpose — moving beyond charity into collective power.\n\n\nA map of your real-world networks and leverage points for collaboration.\n\nPractices and tools for building authentic, trust-based partnerships.\nCourage and creativity to move from “doing good” toward doing solidarity.\nOne small, powerful action to deepen your organization’s commitment to liberation.\n\n \nPresenter\n\n\nAmadeo Cruz Guiao\nAmadeo Cruz Guiao, MBA, MA (all pronouns) is an organizational healer, consultant, and facilitator who has spent over two decades helping social justice movements and community-based organizations reclaim their power, purpose, and interdependence. A 2 nd -gen Filipinx-American and lifelong spiritual healer, Amadeo bridges organizational strategy with embodied, decolonizing practice - rooting transformation in relationship, story, ancestral practices, and the wisdom of the body. Their work spans worlds—from Indigenous and immigrant communities on Turtle Island and the Philippines, to global human-rights networks—and centers the belief that healing and solidarity are the same work. Amadeo currently serves on the Boards of the Tao Foundation for Culture and Arts (Philippines) and Communities Rise (Seattle), supporting collective healing, leadership, and capacity-building in BIPOC-led movements.\n \nThis training is sponsored by Communities of Opportunity and we thank them for their partnership.\n\nFor details, click here: https://communitiesrise.secure.nonprofitsoapbox.com/component/events/event/45
